In this excursion you will enjoy beautiful views that will leave you amazed of Arequipa and we will observe a great variety of animal life, being in the reserve we will visit a salt flat where you will be able to take magnificent pictures. Come and take it!

6:00 am to 6:30 am Pick up from the most central hotels in Arequipa then we will start traveling to the salt lake of Salinas and Aguada Blanca for approximately 3 hours.

7:30 am We make a brief stop in the town of Chiguata to buy something light to eat or something to take with us such as a bottle of water and cookies. After that we continue to our destination, we will pass by the Misti volcano and the Qeñuales forest, all the way offers a spectacular view of the Andean panorama, which makes this trip very interesting.

10:30 a.m. we will be arriving to the salt lake Salinas, located in the National Reserve of Aguada Blanca and Salinas, this lake is located halfway between the Misti volcano, the Ubinas volcano and the snow-capped Picchu Picchu. By hiking around this lake, we will be able to appreciate a variety of animal life, especially Andean (pink flamingos) and migratory birds (ducks, condors, eagles, flamingos, hummingbirds, etc.) the trip includes a nice walk from one side of the lake to the other to get amazing pictures and, luckily, you will enjoy how the local people collect the salt known as borato. **Optionally, at the client's decision, you can visit a little further in our tour the area of the mini volcano of Lojen and the thermal baths, with this excursion the visiting time is longer, therefore, you have time for lunch and the return is at 16:30 pm** In case of only visiting the Salinas Lagoon and the Salar, the most important parts, the return is at 13:30 pm.

Children up to 4 years old are exempt from payment (they do not have the right to take a seat in the tours or food).

Children from 5 years old pay the normal rate.

Free cancellation! If you cancel at least 72 hours before the tour starts, you will receive 100% of the amount paid. After this time, or in case of no-show, no refunds will be given.
